Przegląd projektu
Site: A farm in the desert
Date: June 2021
Location: Yemen
Industry: Agricultural Irrigation, Fruit Tree Irrigation
Project scope: To develop a new series of solar pumps with the help of VEICHI solar pump drives
VEICHI deliveries: Solar PV module array, SI23 solar pump drive, a motor
Project Introduction
VEICHI solar generators and gasoline generator complementary water pumping systems can be the solution for you.
The challenge:
The problem of energy and water sources is one of the most important issues many countries are faced with. Around more than 30% agricultural pumps are not available to connect with grid electricity due to poor power facilities. And 50% farms cannot get well irrigated because of poor water conservancy infrastructure. Nowadays the cost of diesel is rapidly increasing,so the cost of maintenance on diesel generator pump system is very high. It is urgent and important to find a sustainable way for agricultural irrigation.
The solution:
Solar powered water pump technology is a very good solution to agricultural irrigation. The system consists of 130kW solar array,110kW pump inverter and 93kw pump and provides 80m³/h water for irrigation.
Project Products:

Rated RPM: 2850RPM
Solar Pump Controller:
Drive Brand /Model:VEICHI / SI23-T3-110G-A
Rated Power/Current: 110kw/210A
Rated Output: 380VAC 3 Phase
Input Voltage Range: 250VDC –780VDC
Solar Array:
Solar Array:396
Total Power:136620W
Total Vmp:592VDC
The result:
The scope of the project included the supply and installation of six Veichi SI23 series solar water pumping systems, which can deliver 400 cubic meters per day at a head of 180m. The VEICHI water pumping systems do not require batteries. The solar generator supplies the pumps during the day and can be switched to grid power at night if necessary to meet the 24-hour operation of the pumps.
