Przegląd projektu
Site: A farm in the desert
Date: September 2020
Location: Myanmar
Industry: Agricultural Irrigation, Fruit Tree Irrigation
Project scope: To develop a new series of solar pumps with the help of VEICHI solar pump drives
VEICHI deliveries: Solar PV module array, SI23 solar pump drive, a motor
Project Introduction
In rural Myanmar, where electricity infrastructure is lacking, Solar water pumping systems can take advantage of the abundant solar resources in this area and extract groundwater to provide water for local villagers.
The challenge:
The problem of energy and water sources is one of the most important issues many countries are faced with. Around more than 30% agricultural pumps are not available to connect with grid electricity due to poor power facilities. And 50% farms cannot get well irrigated because of poor water conservancy infrastructure. Nowadays the cost of diesel is rapidly increasing,so the cost of maintenance on diesel generator pump system is very high. It is urgent and important to find a sustainable way for agricultural irrigation.
The solution:
The water pump will pump the water to the water tank for storage to meet the water demand at night. The floating switch is installed in the water tank to automatically control the start and stop of the water pump according to the water level.
